The Taplin Awards

The 2025 Frank E. Taplin, Jr. Public Intellectual Award was presented to long-time PBS News Night anchor and broadcast journalist Judy Woodruff.

The award is given to those who have shown a lifetime commitment to civic understanding.  This piece was produced for the event to highlight a handful of the many brilliant moments from Judy’s career.
